Stoney's Grill in Alberta

"Went to Stoney's for their Valentine's day special. It was superb! Service was lovely but a tad slow - understandable as they were so busy in their off season. The bread came out warm and fresh. The starter mushroom soup was amazing. The beef was cooked to perfection - so tender and juicey. The asperugus was a perfect balance of greens. The fries were the best I've had in Canmore! When I had my mouth full of Stoney's delightful dinner they had pleanty of tvs and the Olympics to watch while chewing. All round it was a great night. My mouth had a party at this place so worth the drive off the main drag!"

"One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Our server went above and beyond, she was very friendly and attentive. She made the prettiest ice cubes for our drinks with pomegranate lemon and other fresh fruits. The food was amazing I had the steak sandwich and the steak melted in my mouth! Drinks were delicious too great Caesar and even better Shirley temple! I will make a point to return next time I am in the area. Wonderful place."

"My first time here with my friends after hiking. Thanks for the delicious wagyu burger! There’s a thick piece of Brie which I loved so much.The mountain view is stunning. Although it’s a bit hard to find the entrance, but worth the venture coz the meal, the hospitality and the scenery made up the hassles."

"Wish I could give this 5 stars. The pizza is excellent. Amazing dough and crust. Exactly what I look for in a thin crust pizza. My issue is a lack of sauce and toppings. If this pizza had an adequate level of sauce and/or a few more pieces of each meat, this would be a perfect thin crust Italian style offering. I will say that I visited during happy hour and received 50% off, which makes my experience far more palatable. But if I were to pay full price I would be disappointed at the lack of toppings and sauce. Staff were exceptional and I will undoubtedly return here. A great visual looking out over the golf course and mountains of stunning Canmore!"
